Ken Light manages DAK’s Entrepreneurial Business Group. He possesses over 30 years of financial and managerial experience across a wide range of industries.

Ken has guided many clients through the difficult process of maximizing the value they have created in their companies. He attributes his success at DAK to his ability to identify with his clients and his talent for finding creative and “outside the box” solutions to transaction obstacles as they arise. Mr. Light specializes in the photonics industry as well as lower middle market companies.

In the ten years prior to joining DAK, Mr. Light founded and successfully grew his own company, which focused on negotiating and structuring equipment finance programs. Previously, Mr. Light held senior managerial and financial positions with subsidiaries of Integrated Resources, Inc. and Flexi-Van Leasing, Inc.

Mr. Light is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Turnaround Management Association and is licensed by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission. He is also a decorated Vietnam War veteran.

Mr. Light received his BS in Industrial Distribution from Clarkson University and both his MBA in Accounting and his MS in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
