Amityville, New York - Nu-Vision Technologies announces its acquisition of the operating assets of the Northeast Division of Expanets from Avaya Inc. (NYSE: AV). This business was part of the assets of Expanets, Inc., acquired by Avaya from Northwestern Corp. (NYSE: NW) on November 25, 2003.

Nu-Vision is a provider of networked communications and data services to small and mid-sized businesses. It delivers local service and telecom solutions nationwide and has offices in New York, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Nu-Vision's broad portfolio is based on strategic relationships with industry-leading manufacturers, service providers, carriers and application developers.

Nu-Vision, founded over 15 years ago by Dwayne Diesu, was sold to Northwestern Corp. in 1998. Mr. Diesu has been responsible for growing the Company and integrating many acquisitions under the Expanets umbrella. Mr. Diesu led the buyout team at Nu-Vision.

The DAK Group, Rochelle Park, NJ, represented Nu-Vision in the acquisition of the Expanets Northeast division. DAK also represented the Company in its earlier transaction with Northwestern Corporation in 1998.
